Well it appears I have a torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder. I went to my family doc last week and she is referring me to an orthepedic surgeon. I go to him on Christmas Eve. All I know is my arm hurts, especially when trying to put on a coat. And now something new has cropped up, the palm of my hand hurts and sometimes my pinky and ring finger go numb. Lovely.
So my home is not really decorated, as simple chores are hard to do with one good arm. Saturday I am off and will enlist hubby's help in getting this house in the holiday spirit. Originally we were going to do the traditional Christmas Eve get together for hubby's family here at our house. But my mother in law offered to take it over since I will be pretty much out of commission Christmas Eve.
We actually got a bonus at work! This is the first one I have gotten there. It's not a Christmas bonus it's due to sales for last quarter. Pretty cool!
I have pain pills for my arm but cannot take them during the day, they pretty much knock me out. I might try some aleve for during the day. Have I mentioned it sucks getting old? LOL
We had a touch of snow this past weekend, me and Kota loved it! It was so pretty coming down, but did not stick. Hopefully it is just a prelude to more snow we will get this year.
Kota made a necklace for his teacher, using my jewelry supplies. It was really cute. he put two snowmen on it and spelled out the teachers name in some alphabet beads. He does have an artistic streak to him!
Well thats all the news from here. Just trying to hang in there and get through the season.
