The snow and the blizzard that accompanied it has put a sandwich composed of ice, sleet and snow on the ground. The drifts are 3 or 4 feet deep in our front door and in our driveway. This is Oklahoma folks and we don't know how to drive on the white stuff, much less all of the black ice underneath.
Ted says we can get out tomorrow. I really hope so. In the meantime I have been watching Turner Classic Movies. We
are supposed to have guests from Wichita Thursday. I hope that they are able to get here.
Of course I am out of anything t o read but perhaps I can get
to the library tomorrow. Rex loves the snow and runs around
wagging his tail and taking huge gulps of it. I don't believe he has ever seen it before.
A car full of enterprising people came by and offered to shovel the driveway for 45.00. I declined and offered them ten since my carport all but covers the drive. Of course they refused but I noticed no one in my block had taken advantage of their offer either.
