I have Plantar Fasciatus and it is killing my left foot. I have an appointment with a specialist next Wednesday and I hope he won't suggest that surgery is the only option. I followed his suggestion about shoes with arch supports but it no longer helps much.

Rex brought home a 5 point rack of deer antlers from the woods around the house. I took them away from him because they are quite beautiful. At least these weren't acqiuired from a neighbor. He often brings home sheets and towels, which I return unless they are obvious throwaways. Retrieving is his thing and he brings things up with his tail extended like a flag and a big smile on his face. He is so proud and joyous that no one can get really mad at him.

He and China now greet each other by touching noses the first thing in the morning. She discourages further intimacy. She will allow one or two sloppy licks but that is the limit of her ability to tolerate a dog. Oh well, cats rule and dogs drool.
