Here I am, writing away and reading blogs at l2:39 in the morning. I got into this great, funny book by the author who won the National Book Award, Jincy Willet. It is called, "The Writing Class",and I can't seem to put it down.
The heroine is a fat, frumpy, sixty year old writing teacher. She hasn't been propositioned in years. Her mantra is Kill Me Now and she is a serious recluse. I know it doesn't sound appealing but it is so funny. Her old Basset hound is a dour dog who won't even cuddle with her and her writing class is her only social outlet. Get it if you can.
