There was a huge thunderstorm last night with a lot of lightning and soundeffects. In the middle of it a l03 pound dog landed on the bed and scootched between us. He was so frightened that we didn't make him get down. Just like a spoiled child, he tried to do it again this morning after his morning outing.

We watched a little bit of Lonesome Dove again last night. we never get tired of it. I really preferred the book to the movie but I think it was one of the most perfectly cast movies that I have ever seen.

The little girls brought a friend over for cookies and milk
last evening. They prepared their snack themselves and put their glasses in the sink when they finished. Ellie has
taught them well.

we went shopping for new faucets for the bathrooms and ended up at Applebees for dinner. We had a wonderful Spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer but the food wasn't that good.

I made chocolate eclairs Saturday and they disappeared
with warp speed.I guess I will have to do it more often.
