Just always here and never here if you know what I mean. I am so tired of just the four of us, me, Ted, Jose and Nadine being shut up together with little relief in sight. We keep sighing over the cruise ads because a week or two of total variety would help a lot. The last relief we had was when the grand kids visited over Christmas. It has been about 3 years since Laura ventured off to New York. About a year ago she said no more resturant jobs and no more bar tending. She was concentrating on fashion only. Since my daughter and I had to help support her it was rough. However I have to tell you that she has a 30 month contract with NBC to dress their made for tv movie stars. She had turned down wardrobe before but now she is glad to get it and so are her mother and I. She was home for Christmas, bringing her cat who totally hated the trip. Laura has several advantages, one being a degree in fashion design and the other is a New York Driver's license which mean she can drive to Nordstroms and pick up clothing. The other one is that she is beautiful with creamy white skin contrasting with her black hair and black eyes. But New York eats up girls who are beautiful so I am not making a point of that. I thought you might like to know this. Laura is one of my sweetest grand daughters and I wish they would all alight a lot closer geographically. However I would not wish to clip their wings. Fly free little girls and do what I did not dare.
