Finally I have everything done for the family reunion. I thought how horrid it would be if I forgot to make the tea or ice down the cokes. I have done all that and baked a big cherry cobbler and have the ham in the oven. Everyone brings something . Ellie is doing her sweet potato souffle and broccoli rice and Bobby is making a fresh basil dressing
for the tossed salad. My daughter and Sara and Laura are
coming from Tulsa. I sent Linda the money to rent a car
since theirs is prone to breakdowns but she decided to use the money for some other dire need and drive her own van.
That means that we will have to worry about her until she
makes the round trip.

When my sister, my cousin and myself are gone, these
get togethers will probably cease unless Bobby and Ellie
continue.

I am courting the sun God so that the children can be outside. It would be so nice to have it warm enough for them to eat at the picnic table.
