Ted and I were married twenty five years ago in a small family wedding. It was my fourth try and Ted's third to brave the matrimonial waters. I have always been an optimist. Our marriage license was obtained on Valentine's
day and reads Love County..an actual Ok county.

It was a pretty little wedding with lots of champagne and
snacks. His five brothers and their wives were there and so
were my mother and sister.

Today, we are going shopping for jewelry and out to eat and then come home and watch movies that we have been saving.
Tomorrow is Ted's birthday and I have already given him his present. My son wanted to take us both out yesterday to the Cheesecake Factory but Ted wanted to stay home and work
on his golf clubs so I went and brought Ted fish and chips. Ellie and Bobby would rather make the drive across
town to that restaurant than eat closer to home. They have a point but the traffic is awful.

We all sampled each other's food and tried to figure out
what the ingredients were. Adrienne had fried plantains with her chicken and they were easy...just brown sugar, butter and rum flaoring. The meatloaf and the coleslaw
baffled us. The meatloaf was made with bread crumbs and had
no tomato or onion flavors. I really didn't like it but
Bobby is crazy about it. The coleslaw was the best I ever
ate. It was creamy and I never did figure out the dressing.
I had fish and chips and they were as good as the ones in
London. I can make Alfredo Sauce that is the equal of theirs or maybe even a little better. Ellie had a salad so
that was a no brainer. The cheese cake was divine.

So much for our three day holiday. We planned for it and we
love it.
