We are getting settled into a routine now. I have researched Jose's parentage and I am fairly sure he is a
Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix. He looks like a little fox and
he is furry and tiny. Rex is acting younger and seems to
enjoy him.

He has brought a lot of joy to all of us. I am so glad
that we decided to adopt him. He is about the size of a
cat and would certainly be no match for a determined Kitty.
He is protective which I find hilarious but he is serious
about his duty and joins Rex in defending the back yard.

He and Rex are due for heartworm medicine and Rex has to
have his shots so we will be taking them both to the Vet
soon. The ASPCA offered vet insurance but it seemed to
be terribly expensive for the services covered so I declined.

It is wonderful to have a mature dog that is house
trained. Knock on wood, but there have been no
accidents and the territorial stuff has been confined to
the back yard.
