I just got back from a second grade school play that had me
in stitches. My youngest grandaughter was one of l0 trees.
She was certainly the tallest tree in the forest and very wooden when it came time for the trees to sing and dance.
All the trees wore green tee shirts and green construction
paper conical hats with a yellow star on top. Even her
mother said, "So, Ashley is never going to be an actress."

It was so funny. My third husband's widow sat with us and I
was pleased to see that she was quite fat. You men won't
understand that but the women all will.

The moose kept losing his construction paper horns. The
title of the play was a Moosical Christmas. The bird was
adorable in her white feathers and the reindeers had trouble with their horns as well. Construction paper is not suitable for horns but evidently no other medium was at hand.

Tomorrow night is Adrienne's band concert. They are more
skilled but not nearly as funny.
