I was expecting Laura to roll in about supper time last
night and she was right on time. She left her rocky
mountain home at 4 a.m. and had a quick stop in Enid,
Oklahoma to pick up a box of flood memorabilia from the
seventies.
We have done little but talk and eat since she has been
here. We went out for a Mexican lunch with drinks
and we will probably go to bed very early. I think we
will visit the Oklahoma City Museum of art tomorrow to
look at the Faberge eggs and other exhibits. We are
trying to catch the last two years up. She looks great,
not one iota older than the last time we saw her.
We had gluten free pancakes this morning and there was
absolutely no difference in the taste and I am trying
to prepare all gluten free foods. It is not that
difficult. wish you were all here to share in our
joy. We did talk to Mike and Fredo this afternoon.
