Sometimes I find the perfect gift for someone and stash it
away for a special occasion. Other times I will receive
something perfect for me. Ted just received a wonderful
charcoal of Will Rogers by Charles Banks Wilson that falls
in that category. It is perfect for the family room where
I have tried to create a southwestern look with Native
American paintings and a rug that I hope is Najavo. I hope it is but it really doesn't matter since I like it a lot.
Laura will be able to verify whether it is authentic or not.
The problem is that I am out of wall space. Ted and I moved
from a house that had a long wall that I could use as a
picture gallery. This house is an open plan with the kitchen and dining room offset. This creates a lot of odd
angles. I realize that this is a petty little problem but
it preoccupies me.
Perhaps the answer will arrive in my sleep as it sometimes
does. In the meantime I am going back outside to plant some
more.
