I just got back from a rushed trip to town. Being the l3th, I got home safely without seeing any black cats or witches about.
My library is having a book sale and I hurriedly grabbed up an Atwood, a John Grisham and a little slender book. I left the slim volume in the car to read while Ted shops in Auto Zone. Auto Zone is not my cup of tea.
The traffic was horrible. Friday night really means something here such as dinner out and a movie. We are planning a weekend in Carthage, Mo. It is one of our favorite small town and a delight to the eye. It has so many restored Victorian Homes. It has a magnificent Court House and the town is built around the courthouse square.
Just read that the Michael Jackson concerts in London are sold out. I would not bother to walk across the street to see him, much less pay money. However, to each his own.
