I love Ellie and always have but until we moved here to be close to the family, I didn't realize how caring she is. She offers to scrub the bathtub, to get down on the floor and dust and to do all the things that are hard for me to do.
She is in and out every day and we see a lot more of her than we do of our son. I enjoy going places with her and we confide in each other. Since my daughter lives in Tulsa and has a son with multiple handicaps we don't see her often and I have missed being close to her.
Ellie grew up in Russia where mother-in-laws are perceived as devils so it took an attitude adjustment for her to love us. I am very grateful.
