My old coffee pot perished yesterday. It was five years old and had given us many a morning shot of caffeine, which is totally necessary in the mornings. Ted had to go to Walmart for ink for the printer and I asked him to pick up a Mr. Coffee. He did and it leaked water from the bottom
and filled the carafe with grounds. It was a cheap Chinese piece of crap. I bundled it back up to return. I am about to learn my lesson. Mr. Coffee used to be a good reliable brandbut it's new provenance has turned it into something that I will never buy again. I never go to Walmart anymore.
When Sam Walton was running the show it was a good store
but his boys have been so greedy that it is filled with goods from China.

I ended up buying a Delonghi and I love it. It is pretty and streamlined and sturdy.

Ellie and I went to an estate sale. It was very overpriced. I bought a hoe, a fancy sponge mop and some drawer pulls.
I left a bid on a German wall clock but don't expect to get it and it won't break my heart if I don't.

Rex has head a dig festival in the back yard. Between the
squirrels and Rex the back yard has taken a beating.
