Remember when Christmas was about getting instead of giving? It is such a pleasure to watch gifts you have carefully chosen being unwrapped.
Ted gets lost a lot so he got a Magellan from me. In a weird
way, I will benifit from it too. Adrienne was about five when she informed him that his short cuts were long cuts and truer words were never spoken.
For some reason, I fixated on warm robes for nearly everyone with a cash supplement . I always give some cash
so people can pick out whatever they want at the after
Christmas sales. A gift card is too limiting.
Ted and I have talked about getting a shelter dog for Rex. He loves to play with other dogs. We probably won't because
of Vet bills and barking. For some reason, Golden Retrievers rarely bark. Our neighbors have told us how much
they appreciate that he only barks when someone comes to
the back fence.
Rex had company yesterday but was unable to enjoy it because the little terrier was so frightened of his enormous size. When he got down and made gestures of canine
friendship, the tiny little dog went under the couch. The
little dog belonged to the children of the neighbor across
the street. Speaking of the man across the street, when his
children visit him instead of spending time with them he usually has his mother come and take care of them while he
plays golf. Ashley and his son are in second grade together.
His children and dog came to visit Ashley yesterday.
We are going shopping for a spiral evergreen tree today.
Wish us luck.
