So I might have mentioned before I have been looking at buying a house. Through all the scary things i saw while looking (sweat shops, unopenable master bedrooms.ie-heads in freezer possibilities, etc) I had found something. I thought it was the perfect house. Good sq ft, pool, big fenced in yard, everything I was looking for. So I put a bid on it at the beginning of April.

Coming to the present of July 27th- I have not hear one word on the house. Not a yes, not a no, not a we need more money, nothing. almost 4 months and I have nothing and I'm in the same place I was back in April. What really chaps my ass is the fact that I stopped looking. I was so expecting to hear something that I gave up the ghost and contentedly let my desire to be a homeowner in this lovely buyers market collect dust.

Well no more. I pulled my "I Want" box out from under my bed and blew off the layer of dust and cobwebs. This was harder than you would think too, those dust bunnies are territorial. But I escaped with all my hair and TADA.... my "I Want" box intact...battered but intact.

Then what do you know I opened it up and there they were, all hopeful and possibly perfect-4 new houses. I'm going to look tomorrow!!!
