About to Be MIA Again

My youngest sister (who is just one year older than my oldest son) had an emergency C-section on May 5th and delivered a healthy baby girl. Her husband is in the Navy and was out at sea, much to both of their disappointment, but he was able to get back yesterday.

She is going to be flat on her back for a few weeks (she is over 40) and has a 18 month old too, so I will be leaving to go up to Virginia to spend some time with her and help her with the babies.

I am in over my head putting the final touches on the Breeze before I leave. It is about 3 weeks behind schedule, through no fault of mine. I can only move as quickly as the slowest contributor, and some of our officers must publish a column. One or two are always late, and how do you motivate a volunteer? (Also- they outrank me, so I have to be courteous and respectful.) We have the issue posted on the web, although it will have to be re-posted as this was before I received the galley proof and made more edits/ corrections. If you have any interest in seeing our news magazine, go to:

https://cgaux7.org/index_publications.htm

The first 18 pages are the "required" columns and likely of little interest to non-Auxiliarists. The articles start on page 20. This issue came out great and I have received many compliments already. We are hoping to earn the National Best Publication Award.
Back to work!
