Ok, I will fess up. During the day I usually have the TV on in the background while I am doing other things and I watch Judge Mathis and Judge Joe Brown. I can't stomach shows like Maury, Divorce Court or Steve Wilkos, but I watch these Judges and the People's Court. I know! Pretty darn pathetic!

Two of the recurring themes seem to be:
1- Stupid woman puts friend on her cell phone plan and friend does not pay. Somehow, it always seems to be a woman and the bills get run up into the hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars. What idiots! I cannot even comment on something this bizarre except to say that I don't even want to know these people!
2- People slandering each other on Myspace and Facebook; posting truly malicious, hateful things about each other for the world to see. Again, idiotic beyond belief! Making hateful, malicious statements says more about the person writing the post than it does about the person they want to slander.

I grew up dirt poor but we were raised to be decent. "Po' but proud." My parents taught us that 'trash' or 'white trash' as we sometimes said back then, had nothing to do with income level or economic status. It had to do with abominable behavior; with a lack of self respect and respect for others.

Day time television will never run out of people to fill their shows because there seems to be an over-abundance of people who don't have a clue what respect is all about. It is also why I cannot listen to shows like Maury and Steve Wilkos. They really expose the bottom of the barrel! By 4 p.m. I am ready for someone sweet and pleasant like Ellen Degeneres!

By the way.... guess my pubic hare will never find its way on to a PETA poster!
