On June 25th I received a public Service Award from the US Coast Guard for my contribution to the 2009 Coast Guard Art Program. The award was conferred at the Salmagundi Art Club in NYC by Rear Admiral Michel, USCG, Director of the Coast Guard Public Affairs Department.
Ok, that is the news. I am at my niece's house in Brooklyn and hope to visit my son in PA tomorrow. I have limited Internet access as I am using my niece's PC so I can't catch up on all of your posts until I get home again, but as you can see, you are in my thoughts. "See" you all when I get home!
