Reluctant Hillbillie

Bubbha Blessed This Day, Today.

Discounting my husband [and he gets better as he ages] I saw the nicest looking Hillbillie bloke…man…again today. And it looks like I will see him again and again as he and the husband share an enthusiasm for all things chicken…well of course they do, they’re bloody Hillbillies after all.

It appears the two of them are going into the chicken business together. Selling eggs, selling chicks, selling layers, selling fertilizer. I don’t care what they do as long as it pays for some most of their feed and living expenses.

Bonus is, I get to watch them stoopid chooks playing silly buggers when they’re out free-ranging AND eat an egg or two.

The *Bubbha Bless Is*… it’ll get the husband out of my hair every now and again. Therefore I may get the time to do *stuff* I have an interest in.counter create hit

I like chickens. It's the smell of the "afterburner" that gags me.

That is the downside of mutual retirement--I'm going to look into the chicken business for my hubby!

I remember when DH was home a lot; home for lunch, home for dinner and the rest of the night. Now I just catch a glimpse of him as he prepares to leave the house, again.

Who knew chickens had so many benefits?
