Yeah,
I slept in my own bed last night, it feels so good to be back home!! It was a much needed two weeks in So. Calif. with my family. This is the first time I was gone this long with both of my daughters at home, they will be 19 and 21 this year afterall!!! No visible damage, and I came home to a wonderful warm house with the rain falling and a fire in the woodstove...Diana picked me up from the airport and on the way home she took me out to lunch!!

We had temperatures up to 90 degrees, and I even got a little sunburn it was so "hot" in LA, one season is all they experience!! I'll take my four seasons in Butte County any day of the year!! I'm just so grateful that it worked out for me to go at this time. Talk about "home sweet home" I missed EVERYTHING about my life in Paradise, even my cats!!! I was way too busy, so I barely even had time to think about what I was going to be coming home to!!
It just reaffirms why I left the "forest of cement" way back in 1982, when I relocated to Butte County to be a wild land fire fighter!!
