I hear what you say "Red and Kristy", but I don't think you understand the "real" situation.

Ok.. there are "50 million" plus without healthcare in the USA. It's NOT those that are "not working". They get it all free. Those on "Food stamps" or whatever do get "medicade". They get free (or reduced rent) and alot of other things. There are very "few" here, that won't qualify (if they refuse to work). Yes the government, will force them to look for work. But that system is screwed. I know many that could work, get everything "free". I don't want to pay for them either.

Now, the majority of the people without healthcare, are the "self employed" small business. Do you know, as a working man. With a small business. One "for the fact" to be one of the biggest draws anywhere.. I would have to pay "4-5" times the rate, as if I was working for a company. For insurance alone (with huge deductibles). I also pay double the tax rate. I am working every week, and yet health insurance is "out of the question" for me. If I wasn't as good at what I'd do. I'd give up complete.. and get it all "free". I know many that have worked the way I do, choose to be that way. I don't. I don't want a fucking dime from the government.

What I want, is for people like me.. to have an "equal shot" at healthcare. We don't have, and I could give thousands of examples. I work with these people every week. Those "trying", those not trying to abuse the system.

Obama is "trying" for a plan to help people like me. Make people that "can afford to pay", have to pay into it. Those that really can't afford it, will have a reduced price. Those "illegals" and "bums" will have to answer too. It's a decent plan. It will help alot of people. It will keep "alot" of small business.. in business. Not fall someday, to letting the government pay their way.

Currently.. I owe over $5000 in back taxes on business sales alone. What I make in a year, most that freeload of the government are better off then me. They have medical, they have free rent, then they get tax credits and such.. that makes that "VERY" appealing to many. Not me!!! I don't want the crap!! I want things "right" for those that really try.

I could be like every "Tom, Dick, or Harry".. but I won't. I will however support what is "right". I always will!
