I talked to Danny a few minutes ago. He really wants me to do the "Lansing MI" show in Meridian mall (He is promoting this one). The spot will be center court. His display and Jim's will be right there in the middle. Usually the best spot you can have in a mall.

I did that show with them not long ago. I didn't do well. Yes, I was in center court, but not really where I wanted to be in center court. I didn't go in the "hole" or anything. I paid the "rent", bought some chit for the computer.. but I didn't come home with much.

I told Danny.. "You don't understand dude"! You have autographed Jerseys (and such) from entire teams. They are BIG, can be seen 40 ft away. I cut designs out of coins. I know, when I get the "traffic", when people see.. they buy my stuff. I just need the "traffic" close, and they will buy. I told him, if I'm gonna do this thing, I need a better spot. Cut coins don't show up from a distance.. the "customer" needs to see them first hand.. kinda run into my booth.

Now we talked back and forth on this thing. Finally, Danny said "I could pick my spot any place in the mall". See, we both know.. When he rents a spot, from the mall itself (these are big spots 50x20 or something like that.. the booth is supposed to be "all in one place". In other words, if I come in.. I am supposed to stay within their booth. Another thing we know is... Mall management (in any mall) is never there on weekends. NEVER.. and this is true in any "State" I've done shows in (And I have in alot). So basically.. if I go in just "Saturday and Sunday".. me picking where I want to be "Probably" won't be a problem. Yet, both Danny and I know.. if it is a problem.. it's his ass.. seriously doubt I would get thrown out, but it could hurt relations with Danny and the mall.

Ok.. looked like I would be doing the "Meridian" mall in Lansing MI. We decided it wouldn't be in anyone's best interest for me to do "Friday". For one" Roxi works. I am home with Sebastian. We would need "childcare" for him an entire day, as well as "gas" to have someone take me to the mall early FRI (My van runs, but not legal.. I normally have no problem with that, but I just got a slew of tickets driving that way). Plus the van is not bad, but not really reliable.. so Friday at the mall is out.. lol.

I talked to Roxann after talking to Danny. I truthfully think this is the better of the two places this weekend. Plus, I wanna keep my "IN" with Danny and Jim.. but Roxann thinks I'd do better at the "Flea Market", with the Radio station right there. Yes, they will bring people in.. and I have better stuff then the normal vendors (true, most of them have crap that's been sitting in their garage 20+ years.. lol). But she is concerned about the "gas" and the "overall" picture. So right now, I am thinking the mall best (higher fee's, way more gas), she is thinking the (close and cheap) "Flea Market". Either way, it will be decided tomorrow. I guess either way, I really don't care.

So as of right now, I know I have "Friday" off and will be with "Sebastian", and my cute and cuddley computer.. lol. Saturday and Sunday, I will be working SOMEWHERE.. lol....
