A Journey Into My Life

Website Nearly Finished

My new website is nearly finished. Well, no website is ever really finished. They are always "works in progress".

To me, "nearly finished" means most every major section is complete. Fully functional, online, and able to order from.

I have 3 major sections to complete. I assume each will take an entire 8 hour day. Anything else I add is just gravy after those. The "main" (most important) stuff will be in place.

Right now, it's on a free server. That will be changed within a few weeks. On free servers, you get banners, pop-ups all that. I feel this server is "stable". I am only waiting to change because I have a new "debit" card coming in the mail. I want to "exclusively" use this one for web payments, and address verification (to like Paypal and such).

For now, some graphics may not come in (if you look). The reason is "bandwidth", and the ad's (and pop-ups) the server places. Once I go to a paid account (only like $6.00 a mo.) all will come in fine. Just so you know.. (if you look).. I have this area covered.

I have java script (programming code) in many places. I have disabled it for now (Except the credits page). Too big a load until I get my "Premium hosting". I also took off alot of animated graphics and such till then. I can add everything back in a day (and will).. I just want you to know, it will look better through the coming weeks.

I've begun to promote it. All the "meta tags, keywords and such" are done. I have sent the URL to every major search engine. This is the biggest problem of any site. There are hundreds/thousands/millions of listings for "search engines" "crafts listings".. plain old listings. Listing your site is a "never ending process really. I've at least begun that. I want it to show up #1 again (It has in years previous), but now I am like starting over. All is new.

So for now, it's done enough to "lost" and promote on my business cards and such (I give out alot every show).

If anyone wants to look.. it's at:

(Remember.. those annoying pop-ups will soon be gone)
