A Journey Into My Life

Just Another Day

Not alot happened today. I downloaded like 4 new video games. Played them. I changed a half dozen diapers (I do that alot).. and basically spent most of my time on the computer.

I did unload the rest of my display once Roxi got home, *which I need to stain tonight".. but most is all done. That will take about an hour. So, I'm gonna suck down a few beers before that.

I did spent a great deal of time on this "Moped" project. Just research. I want to find all the "cheapest prices", accessories I can buy. What alterations I would need (for a specific bike), bicycle prices.. like everything. I am super serious on this project... I will start doing it. I am even considering starting a website before I even built one.. lol. That way I can have all the other stuff in place. Information, laws.. etc..

Draco commented on my last post (about this).. here is what he wrote:

Did you know what a moped has in common with a fat chick? Both are fun to ride but you don't want your friends to see you with one.All kidding aside...great idea. Gas mileage is everything. Plus those chopper mopeds kick bootay.

LOL.. I thought that was funny. Ya know,, even a decade ago what he said would be true! Today.. I seriously doubt most hardcore bikers would "tease ya" for riding one of these today. Bikers are more "down to earth" then most people think. They get a bad "rep" because of what people percieve.. not really how most are. I think most would say.. "That's kinda cool".. (nicely) then go on to explain their "Harley"... lol. Not cutting you down.. but still Harley is king.. we all want one. But can't all afford one. They realize everyone is on a budget. The average consumer (doesn't want to look bad), so like a decade ago.. I wouldn't see these selling. Today, I definetely do see them selling. Hell.. they get 100-150 MPG! They go like 40 mph.. are light as hell, and if you gotta turn off the motor, you can still pedel it.

One thing I wonder.. and I think it's possible (from what I've seen) is if you can use a 10 speed bike?! I think you can. I would like to make some of those. So when you have to switch off the "motorized" you still have a good bicycle. I haven't seen one pic of these yet.. but I think possible. It won't be the one I make first.. but I will at some point.

Wow.. didn't get one single "negative" post on my blogs, or in my email today about anything I've written! I think your all being "sneeky" and trying to "psychological" mess with my brain. You think if you say nothing bad to me.. I won't say nothing back. Yeah... it works. I'm ready to chill for awhile anyway.. lol. Honestly, I don't dwell on anything anyone says. I just get into certain moods.. and I fly with them...

Ok.. later all... Gotta go eat and stain the rest of my display.

I did say I was kidding, right. I'm thinking of getting my wife a little vespa-type scooter because she has to rely on me to give her a ride to work since we share a car and I have to use it for my job(I do a merchandising route for Coca Cola.)Her shift will be changing to where it may become harder for me to stop and give her a ride to work. I may have to buy one of your mopeds if you can ship it to Oregon at a reasonable rate. Holla at me when you get started.

sounds like you are kicking the moped thing in the butt. I hope I get to see pix of the finished project

Trust me bro...if I have something to say I will say it, not really concerned about staying on anyone's "good side"
