I've waited a while, to give my true impression on this. I think I am ready now (for the "initial" impression) at least.

Google Chrome is a new web browser from "Google" (Go figure by it's name.. lol).

Ok...

I like it. I actually like it alot. I have most every other browser (current versions, and some older) installed in this computer. I do because if I am making a website or something I need to test in as many browsers as possible. Until now, my favorite has been Mozilla. Followed by Netscape.. and last (but not least) Microsoft IE.

Google makes alot of "claims" about it's browser. I will say here, what I found to be "correct", and not correct.

LIKES- So far

1) The speed. They claim this was one thing they really worked on. This I feel TRUE! Any time I click a bowser button on my computer.. there is a little (lag). I listen to my hard drive tick, as the browser loads. The new "Google" browser is "Fast as chit". It's like there in an instant. Way better to me then ALL the others.

2)I like that the "Google" search bar.. and the place you type in web addresses are the same. Only ONE bar on top. That means more "real space for your" webpage.

3) I like the fact that.. when you load the "Google browser".. it doesn't show some dumb ass (Microsoft/Google/Netscape/Mozilla) page... lol. Yes I know you can change in any browser. But it's "standard" when you download.. the Google browser.. it displays a "screenshot" of the last websites you visited. Or maybe the ones you visit most. Not sure on the last part.. but I like it.

4) I have not got a chance to "fully" check this part out. If the Google claims are "correct", I feel this is awesome. Google claims.. A central feature was to program this in a way "pages" could be self contained. I will give a short sense.. Say if you are using "Netscape or Microsoft" (for example). and you are multi-tasking. Maybe you are doing some banking, and watching a You Tube video. If for some reason one application "freezes", both are gone in most current browsers. For years, we had to think about this. I am not gonna run this "browser game".. I'm not gonna do this other thing with my business stuff up. If the program freezes, I gotta start over on my (business stuff). I don't know if you really understand how "Big this really is".. but if it "truely works" as claimed... This is a HUGE stride forward! Google claims.. if one thing freezes (which can happpen, it is beyond anyone's control. That was a fault of the application programmer.. and they may not know. It's so hard to EXPLAIN THIS.. but I've programmed many years and know why. Google to me.. has found a way around a huge problem.

5) You have the option of making "certain" text bigger. Not the entire page.. the things you want to read. You don't lose resolution. This browser does that quite well.

DISLIKES- So far

1) Although they "Claim" it's pretty "stable". I know it's not 100% yet. It runs really good.. but I did have some problems at times. I won't "eloborate" on these yet. The reason "I am new to this - everyone is". I don't know if it's browser bugs, user (me) error or what. I did however experience problems.

2) My only other gripe would be this. I don't like the way it "downloads" files. Almost no graphics, or nothing. Hard to see when your "game will come in". I download tons of chit, so this was important. Maybe they did it for speed. Nothing graphical on the downloads.. lol. It's don't really matter.. but really, the graphics on a download (a visual see) are not alot. Plus I would have "seperated" it and not use a whole TAB (page) for it. Maybe a simple "Tiny" icon to view it, and/or change views.

BOTTOM LINE

I have programmed for 20 years or so. I do have computer experience. I can say, this web browser (Google Chrome) is a "Big" step in Browser "advancement". Despite the minor problems I found.. I think most everyone will like it. I sure do. I promoted "Mozilla" for years.. and finally I found one I feel better. I am certain the other Browsers will follow suit (after this), but for now you should download it. Do a search. It's quick... will import your bookmarks.. and you can still use your other browsers if you want.

LAST THOUGHT

Have you ever wondered what "Sex" was like between "Adam and Eve"? I have! "Anyway".. the first time they did it, was probably "missionary position". I am certain Adam got into it.. Eve too! Everyone likes SEX (If you don't, you need to see some docs.. unless you have some medical reason you really "can't" have sex, you should like it). Anyway.. that was a "tangent".. point is...

ADAM AND EVE were probably like "Wow".. (first time having sex). "What could be better then this??!!!! I bet they "truely felt, nothing could be better. Well, they were right. But I am certain it was "Adam's" idea. I bet he one day said to "Eve".. "Hey hun?!.. Can we do that sex thing AGAIN.. but may be TRY it a DIFFERENT way?" How about..., you go over by that "tree", and maybe like "umm" get on your hands and knees.. and I try this from "behind".. then "Eve" probably said "Ok hunny"...

THE "POINT OF THE LAST THOUGHT"

The sex was GREAT before Adam and Eve tried it "Doggy".. Just like (See, you see where I am going.. ya) Browsers were all great (IE, Netscape, Firefox, etc..), still are. You can still use the same browsers you always have.. or you can "try" something new. Better in alot, not so much in other things. At least it's "different". It won't change your life "either way".. But I believe it's something "better" to try. So do a search, and "DOWNLOAD" it: Called: Google Chrome. Free and I know they are moving towards future. Soon the other "Browsers" will follow suit.

Ok.. I'm out.. that was my "Public service" notice for today!

PS.. Don't believe the fluc**** French. They didn't "Invent other sexual positions" (As they claim).. Adam and Eve lived to 900+ years old. They invented "every position"... And they did because they believe in progress....
