It's about midnight. I've been watching "Dr Phil". Also eating "Long John's Silvers" fish and shrimp (Roxi and I got hungry, so went out for it). I decided to post "once again". Yes, I know I have posted way too much today. It was just a "touchy" subject for me.. so I wanted to write again.
The show was all about "Father's rights" when a child is born.
Much (most) of it, was about "men" who feel they should have as much right "not to be a parent" as the woman. Like the woman can choose to have an abortion, the woman can choose adoption.
First off, I will say "I WOULD NEVER" want my child aborted, nor would I want to give them up for adoption. Any kid with my "blood", is mine forever. Those things I would fight NO MATTER WHAT.
The point however, was "how many rights" do men really have?
That is a very interesting point. There were guys on their, that claimed the "women" tricked them into having a child. Saying "they can't get pregnant", or "they were on the pill, when they weren't". These men, didn't want to be part of the child's life. And felt they were tricked.
It happens alot.. many women see a way to "get money", have a child.. keep it from the man, and pretty much have all they wanted. No choices for the man, when they always had TONS of choices and the court supports them.
Personally, even if I was "tricked" by a woman. One that said "I can't get pregnant", I'd want to be their for the child's life. But I understand these guys also. It's really not right, that a woman can "flat out lie", and the man has no real "recourse".
To me, your "kid" is your blood. Always love "your blood"! But to see women come back "years later", for child support. Especially ones that never said the man was the "father" in the first place is wrong. Women who raise the child, knowing who the father was, and never even told him is "horrific" to me. Then to come get money for support, because they lacked it later... grrr.. that pisses me off quite alot.
I fully support the "mens" rights in this. If it can be proved (which is almost impossible) that the woman "lied". Said she can't get pregnant or something. She should have no right to get support if that man never had an opportunity to be part of it's life). If it can't be proved, yes the man needs to pay support. Although I find it kinda "evil" and wrong of a woman who plays that way.
Abortion is the "right of the woman". Men have no say in it. I am against it all around, I think it's mostly murder (unless medically necessary). But if "as a society" it's deemed a woman can abort a child, why not a man have an equal decision in the process? People talk about a woman's rights, but you don't hear much about a mans.
Did you know, in some cases. Sometimes a man who was "clearly" just a sperm doner, has been forced to pay child support later? They had that on their too. Men who never wanted the child, just was a donor.
Overall I think of it this way. Any woman who "tricks" a man.. for a baby, for money.. or for whatever other reason is a "cunt" to me. I have no respect for them. I know my buddie "Craig" is going through that now. On the same mindframe, any man that "knows" he has a kid in this world, that "denies" it, or doesn't try to support it. Is a "dickhead". I got NO RESPECT for either type of people.. and got no problem telling anyone...
That's just my "take" on this.. what's yours>?
