A Journey Into My Life

Detroit Itself

Detroit in "itself", is probably hard to understand unless you "either live or work" there.

I don't find "Detroit" bad myself. Yes you got "gangs", You got all those "pussy fuckers" that would shoot you for your Nike shoes. But you "also" got alot of "cool people" too.

Lets take this "concert" we went to tonight.

If you look at the "people", most men are "tattooed". The women are all in "tight short skirts" (which I personally like). Detroit is by "far" one of the toughest places in the USA.

20,000 or so "hard ass Detroit peeps got together to see a concert tonight. Wasn't "one single fight I seen". Almost every single one there was "drinking". Everyone is like "super respectful" to everyone.

Detroit gets it's bad "rap" from "gangs" and chit. That isn't "Detroit" tho. It is a "part of it". But it isn't "Detroit" to me. Everyone I ever met from "Detroit" does have a "rough edge". I think that's because mostly, nobody wants to be "messed with". Most people from that area "no matter how they look" are "cool".

In "Detroit" you got "ALOT" of these "nigga" gang types. This has nothing to do with "racism". It's young punk kids (black or white) that find it "cool" to deal drugs and hurt people. Lots of them. But they sure aren't the ones going to "cool concerts". They are on the "streets dealing crack".

The average person from "Detroit" will be one of the "coolest" you will meet. Direct, to the point. But cool overall.

Despite the faults.. I still like "Detroit"!

Gary :)
