Sorry to post so much today. Maybe I am just in a mood.

Danny "truly" is the biggest "autograph" dealer in Michigan. he has helmets signed by the "entire" MSU and Michigan teams (not to mention other states). He has Jerseys signed by "Jordan, Magic", really tons. He has boxes of sports cards, signed by all the stars. He has a guitar, made by Paul Stanley of Kiss (well designed by him, and signed). I know what he has. I hang at his house at times.

Danny always "pushes" me to take his stuff to my shows. The problem is, most of my better shows are "juried arts and crafts". They won't allow it. There are many shows and such we could hook up together. But we can't the ones I "really" want to do. In a busy fair, they aren't buying $400 helmets signed by a team. They are buying the small (carry as you go) stuff I sell.

Malls, we can both do well. Him better then me. It's a different situation. So I would like to do some malls with him. We can get the "top location" in most any mall. I know for a fact, if there was a mall I wanted to do.. he could get us in. Danny IS a promoter, and one of the best. I've done shows forever, but that isn't a skill of mine (promoting). I'm just an "artist", and my art shows for itself. I have NO desire to spend time talking to mall management or whatever. I've ran shows (lots of times) for promoters. Cause they had to leave or whatever. Just.. I have no "inclination" to promote.

Just we couldn't do a show every week together. Again, a different senerio. If I felt it "viable" we could. But I don't want to be in a mall every week. Maybe in the fall. So I will keep in contact with Danny.

Danny however, is a "true" amazing person. He is smart as chit, but close to erratic as me (although he won't admit). He grew up in the same area as me, same way really. Danny is like "100%" more cocky then me. I am kinda reserved (believe or not), but he will say "anything to anyone" at any time. He'll call an black dude a "nigger" to his face, with a smile. Funny thing, everyone likes Danny. To me, Danny is just Danny. he knows how to say what he wants, and not really offend.

Danny looks up to me. He won't admit outright, but when the chips are down he wants my advice. Another thing I like about him.

Not long ago. Danny and Jim (who is the one of the biggest comic book dealers in Michigan,, plus promoter) asked me to go to "Traverse City Michigan" for a show. I declined, It's way up north. I've done it many times just didn't want to this time. They said, "Gary"! We will be hanging out with all the "Detroit Red wings". I said.. not this time...

I seen all the pics after. Osgood (the goalie for the Red Wings hung with them all night). Plus pictures of all the rest. See, I can do this chit every week if I want. Sometimes, they pay top sport stars to sign autographs. I've said before (and is no lie). I've met more "rock stars, and sports stars" then I can remember. From a "vendor standpoint" (even one as high regard as me). I have to consider fee, I have to consider travel expense. I don't always wanna go. It's more complicated then you may think.

Danny usually makes most of the "major events" way more then me really. He will hire people to get the "autographs". He knows how to get on the "inside". That's a contrast to me. I just do good work, and they want something from me. I let them come to me. Danny (and this is no lie) has a picture book. There are no less then 300 sports figures he has his a photo of. Him and them. Way the hell more then me.

Danny is kinda "down right now". He will bounce back. We will do shows together. First, in 3 weeks in Lansing. I love that little "fuck head"! He is the "smartest little asshole I know".. lol.
