Yep, Sebastian (my 11 month son) has the cleanest mouth around. Let me tell you why...
This morning, I got woke early by him (one thing I hate). I changed the diaper,, I gave him a fresh bottle. Well I had hoped he would fall back asleep for an hour (or two), but he didn't.
I decided to take a bath with him. Although he had a clean diaper, you can't always get the smell completely off his skin without a bath. I decided an early morning bath may wake me up a little, so I went to the bedroom and got my "shorts" (which I do at every bath). Hey, we're not fags, just close enough to take a bath together.. lol.
Anyway, We both like the water warm. We take baths together alot, it's always the same really. I sit in front. I am far better then him, at adjusting temperature and chit. He sits in back, (like guys on a train, both facing forward). He has these little "frog things" (that keep him from slipping), and like a zillion little toys. most often I am facing the "water spout", while he is behind doing his thing. (No worries, I hear him when he slipps). I just don't know everything he is doing, all the time.
I think he felt "guilty". I really do. I wasn't looking his direction... but he grabbed the "soap". I don't know, maybe that other day, when I jokingly said "If you don't listen Sebastian, I'll wash your mouth out with soap". Maybe he felt guilty, and decided to "punish" himself. I'm still not sure why he did this.. but I heard "choking" and had to turn around really quick...
There he was. Sebastian... Red as a beat, coughing and spitting. He just took a huge bite of the "Soap Bar" (with his newely grown teeth), and tried to swollow.
I don't think he will try to "punish" himself in this manner again. No, every indication I have is he really "dis-liked" the whole experience of soap. He still likes baths, but now he hates seeing that "soap bar" sitting there...
Anyway.. he has the "Cleanest mouth around".. lol.
