I met this guy from "Africa" today. Vendor...
Couldn't understand "half he said". He has been in the USA like 3 years. I got that.
I was smoking a "cigarette". He was like "can I TASTE"? I think.. "Taste my smoke"? I don't want your "lips there". Gawd damn, if you want to come to my booth, I'll give ya some. Hell, I don't know what he brought from "Africa"...
He came to my booth. We got to talking. He was VERY hard to understand, But I considered him cool too. We actually talked ALOT about his country and mine (ours).
I wanted to "Know" what he thought about "America". He was "like".. THE USA is the BEST country in the world! He told me, look down this "vendor row", In America, you see it "every day". There is "everything all the time" in the USA. In "Africa", we look at "sand". I got this, he feels VERY lucky to be in this country.
Here's what I got out of it. Americans (for the most part) don't realize how good we got it. Sure as hell. I'd love to stuff a "stick" up "George Bushes ass".. In America, I am allowed to say that. So long as it wasn't percieved as a real threat. It's NOT. We have FAR more freedom, then most any. They don't have that in "other countries".
Loved talking to this dude from "Africa". I really did. I knew he had no "smokes" but wanted some. I frequently went to his booth.. tossed a "cigarette" on his table. Knew I had them, knew he couldn't leave to buy them.
Very very! interesting to talk to people from other countries. To me anyway...
Wish I could talk more.. but this "show" is over now...
