Folks,
I am wondering if anyone knows any organization that might help out with funeral expenses? I have a friend that lives in another state and one of her close friends there has a nephew that was murdered. He was working during the summer to save $$ before he started his senior year of high school. I am cking the Internet but am not having much luck.

A local funeral home may be willing to lower it's price or have a special fund available to help out in these situations. If she can get an article in a local newspaper, and have someone set up a fund in a bank for donations, she might get a lot of help that way. It worked for a family whose kids attended my school.
