The IRS began issuing rebates by direct deposit on April 28. The IRS plans to continue issuing rebates beginning on Monday of the week scheduled, continuing throughout the week, with the remaining balance released on the scheduled Friday for each Social Security number group. The date you receive your payment depends on the following:
* When your return is/was received and processed by the IRS;
* The last two digits of the primary SSN; and
* Whether the payment is being mailed or deposited into your bank account.
The IRS has released the following payment schedule for returns received and processed by April 15, 2008:

A small percentage of tax returns will require additional time to process and to compute a stimulus payment amount. For these returns, stimulus payments may not be issued in accordance with the schedule above, even if the tax return was processed by April 15.
If you file your tax return after April 15 the IRS will continue to make weekly payments through the end of December. To ensure you receive your stimulus payment this year, you must file a tax return by Oct. 15.

BTW, I was in Jackson on Thursday the 15th. Had to go to the V.A.
