I got the bad news more than a week ago; my car is dead and should be gone. There's oil in the coolant overflow bottle. When I add oil to the engine, it flows right into the coolant bottle. Oil is clean and oil colored. Coolant looks like thick chocolate milk...
My regular mechanic says it's not worth repairing - probably a cylinder head. On the other hand, some on-line buddies found a service bulletin about the exact problem. It says the oil cooler bottle might have a leaky seal or something. Much, much less expensive.
In the meantime, I'm driving mom's car. It's keeping her off the roads...
