Oh, Brother ...

My daughter gave me a new cell phone and put me on her plan so she could get in touch with me all the time. I never turned my old cell phone on because then the battery ran down and I had to charge it, which I hated. This new phone is always on but I don't have to charge it very often. How pathetic is it that my nine year old grandson has to show me how to use the phone. Geesh.

I only have a cell phone for emergencies because I travel with my son a lot by car. The battery is always running out because I forget about it.

Exactly! Charging the phone is not on my priority list. I guess it should be.

My children said they were dragging me kicking and screaming into the 20th (lol) century.

I think that's kind of how it goes... The younger kids always seem to know more about the technology! Having a cell phone is good in case of emergency.
My mom even texts me now which is great!

The emergency part is why I got a cell phone originally.

I'm with Martin. Maybe I'd love having one, once I had one. But I really love NOT having one. Of course, my children think I need one. Bah.

It would be good for you to have one in your pocket when you are out cutting wood. You could call for help if a tree fell on you!

I know what you mean, it's kind of pathetic, but we're all in the same boat - so hard to keep up with all the new technology. Thank goodness you have someone in the family who can give you a hand.

My daughter is a whiz when it comes to all things tech-y. I used to be but things change so fast that I am out of the loop now.

The newer phone last much longer.I rarely charge my phone once a month.
Poor Martin. He has been saying this for years.Well anyways I loved mine and not to be missed.I feel safe with it in my car if an emergency ever happen and it did a few times. Thanks for the phone.I am always on the road and out.The tech is not all that bad.If the grandson teach you then let it be.He feels good doing this.Do not feel pathetic you will be fine.

Grandson is getting cocky that he knows more than grandma!

All this technology was here when he got here.

Yes. That is hard to believe, too.
