I was not in a very good mood today and I had good reasons to be a little pissed off. Let me back up a bit here so you understand why I was pissed off. In November, I had a review at work on my performance. Then, in January, there was another review career wise on what I would like to do. Meaning, would I like to move up from my current position. I had expressed that I would like to learn cake decorating and then, perhaps maybe one day Assistant Manager for my department.

A couple of weeks ago, just before my boss went on a two week vacation he came to me and asked if I was still interested in cake decorating and going full time. I said yes. Then, one Saturday, after one of the other cake decorators left to a new store they had me making cupcakes, and all kinds of things. I really got into it. I like being creative as this is who I am. I told the boss it was fun. That was several weeks ago and I haven't done anything more since then.

All of a sudden we get this 19 year old that does cake decorating in the department. Granted, they need some one that knows how to do the other hard part that I have no knowledge in doing. She works mostly at night and two days during the day.

In the past week, one of the other girls that won't even write on a cake all of a sudden is doing all the other cake decorating that I was suppose to be learning. Today, I come in before her and I am doing my usual shit and she comes in after and they have her learning all the new cake decorating that just came to the store. So, I am thinking okay, I see how it is and I am not going to say a darn word and see just how long they will acknowledge me with giving me the chance to learn something new. If this goes on for a month or so, I then know it will be time for me to move on and find another job.

Then, I get home to read my email and it is concerning the sale of my cottage in Vermont in which I have yet to sell and I am getting pissed off since I had a sales agreement to close the deal in January. Yes, January! What month is it? I write a letter to my Lawyer and blast him away. Then, I continue on my email and find another note from my lawyer that they will close this week. Got a sheepish grin on my face like oops I jumped the gun here. Oh frickin well.

Not sure if you remember me telling you a couple of months ago that I found out we had a sex offender at work. Also learned we have another at work as well but not sure who it is. What is up with this company hiring sex offenders? Anyway, the one that I found out about just got arrested the other day for the exact same thing. He is in jail since he had violated his parole and now waiting for his charges for this offense. You bet he is going away longer now. Guess those meetings he attends weren't helping him as we thought and to top it off he was starting to go back to school. Thought he was getting his shit together. NOT!
