Many of you may already know that my husband was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in November. This Thursday he will be his last chemotherapy treatment. Since he is not a candidate to have an operation or radiation he was able to receive two more treatments of chemotherapy. He is at stage 3b with lung cancer. His survival rate is not good.
While I take care of him I am in the process of taking the necessary steps for my transition. I can either choose to be in denial or face realty and prepare myself. I know no matter how much you prepare it doesn't doesn't take the pain away.

Justin at 7 months on my Birthday

Justin loves his Christmas gift from Grandma and Aunt.
In the mean time we both spend time with our new addition Justin. He is now about 9 months and will be baptized this weekend and in no time he will be 1 year old in June. I was just saying to my husband last night while we were watching him crawl on the floor how fast they grow. Even though my daughter isn't legally divorced (long story) and is with current boyfriend Justin is a blessing. I told my daughter there is a reason he is here. It was the same with her grandfather and my son's grandfather. One comes in and the other must leave to make room. I find that weird because there is always room for Grandfather's to grow up with grandson.
Hope all is well with you all.
