Ranch Hand Needed

I've been thinkin' bout all the work that needs done around this ranch and I've decided I should get me a ranch hand. Now, this is a "shoe-string operation" which means we don't have much money, so whoever I hire needs to work cheap. On the plus side, I'll provide a room and a meal or two per day... depending on how hard he works. I've got an ole cow that needs butchering and with a little beer to tenderize the ole gal... she'll taste really great!!!! Plus, I'll throw in a couple of beers to help wash her down.

The cows aren't going to Californ..eeee...aaa for the usual winter pasture, so I need someone who has some xperience with feedin' animals and birthin' calves. It ain't really too hard and I can show you how it is done.

If you decide you would like to come work fer me, you should be use to cold weather and also be good at fixin' things as the cabin yull be stayin' in needs a little repair work.

Here's a picture of the cabin that is available for you.

If ya don't wanta stay here, then you can get a room down at the local motel, but I hear they cut off the heat because they don't make enough with the rent they charge to pay the heat bill. Now, in the cabin there is a wood stove and plenty of firewood layin' around fer you to burn. I think this place can be pretty cozy on a winter's night.

The only other requirement is that yer tall, strong, and look handsome sittin' atop a horse. This 60 year ole woman enjoys good scenery and a handsome ranch hand would bring a smile to her heart.

Just contact Annie at mybloggers.com. Ohhhh and please send a picture.

Ahh, Annie... such a cute article! Actually in these hard times, it shouldn't be hard to find someone to do the things you need done, would it? Now, if we could find someone cute for you...

That photo of that barn you said you and your Dad visited reminds me of the Ingels barn...Little House On the Praire.

How is Chance doing?

Damn: my knife ain't sharpened, so I can't do the butchering. My chain saw is dull, so I can't cut wood. Own neither a horse or cowboy hat. I regretfully decline your once-in-a-lifetime offer.

I bet it is a lot of hard work but a great way to work on what is going on in your mind. It must be really rewarding to see everything come to fruition.

If I could afford the move, and if it wasn't for my Mother (90 yrs old) being here in an elder home, I'd be halfway there by now.
