
On the menu for this evening:
Venison Roast (with sauteed mushrooms on the side)
Autumn Squash (looks like acorn, but is all yellow like a banana... almost too pretty to cook)
Baby Peas
Mashed potatoes with roast gravy
Razzelberry Pie (a Marie Callendar's frozen pie... delicious)
Hey, I don't do pies from scratch anymore. Too much work!
This is what I call an autumn meal. Makes one feel all warm and cozy.
Get well Sum and if you don't feel like eating that Shepard's pie... send it my way. I love that comfort food.

p.s. Venison is very healthy. The deer puts all its fat on between the skin and the meat. The meat is very very lean!!!!
