Spring is Finally Here!

The sun has been shining for a couple of days now, and all of my bushes have flowered and are looking much like spring. The Easter flowers are in full bloom also. My Magnolia has lost many branches from the thick layers of ice that remained so so long, but I am hopeful that it will regain some of its majesty. My lilac bush has some dead branches on it also; however, most of it is covered in large buds. Easter came so early this year that my dogwood is behind schedule. It too is full of huge buds holding a promise of beauty later on.

I also have honeysuckle and fire in the bush that are opening. They aren't in full bloom yet, but I look forward with anticipation to their beauty.

I have been cleaning this morning trying to stay ahead of all the cat hair! Boo keeps dragging out a toy of his that he dearly loves. I keep picking it up; I finally told him to start putting it back in the basket when he finishes playing with it. He looked at me with a very serious expression as though he knew exactly what I was asking him to do for me. However, the toy is back on the floor.

This is enough of my ramblings for now. You all have a very good day now, ya hear!

Oh, man, I am sooooo eager to spring to really get blooming in northwest Ohio. But the Easter weekend five-inch snowfall IS melting....

Is Boo a dog or a cat? Or neither?
Our dogs always pull every toy out of their basket as soon as possible, I swear!

I think Boo is playing with you. You're ahead of us with all your beautiful plants and blooming flowers. All I have is my crocuses, so far.

Beautiful pictures. The azaleas started blooming here about 3 weeks ago. I love it. I love the crepe myrtles when they bloom as well.

While I was gone most of the day yesterday my dog must have decided to make good use of the time and clean up the house. When I got home all her toys(even the ones that had disappeared)were strategically placed on the bed, chairs, and chase. She even picked up the cat toys and put them on the bed. This is a new behavior. Now if I could only teach her to run the vacuum

Spring out there is a few weeks ahead of us here in the northeast, but it's definitely coming. Today is the fourth sunny day in a row! Cold, but sunny! Won't be much longer! Enjoy--it goes sooo fast!

How nice! It definitely sounds like Spring is on its way. I noticed a few crocuses blooming this weekend and the trees starting to bud. It's nice to know that the warm weather is around the corner.
