Finally, the cabinets are going in at the new cabin. I forgot what they looked like, ordered them in September, they were delivered in October, sat in the boxes on the deck all winter.
This is a wine barrel half at the cabin next door. I planted the pinks last year and they came back.
This is the replacement for the window the bear broke out - shattered the wooden frame as well as all the glass. Poor Mr. Troutbend had to figure out how to install a modern window in a 114 year old house. I'm sorry to lose the traditional look, but this new window is easier to operate. We are talking about what to do about repelling the bear this fall because he/she could just as easily take out this new window.
These wildflowers were washed into our yard from high up on the mountain by the 2013 flood. I don't know what they are.
