Mr. Troutbend finally arrived from his winter in Las Vegas. I forgot how all I have to do is think something and he'll say it. For example, I added some stuff to a frozen pizza that we had for lunch, and I was thinking 'good pizza.' And then he said it. We were watching the fishermen in the river, and I said 'that one guy looks like he's tired and wants to go home,' and Mr. Tb said 'that's exactly what I was thinking.'

He has a skin cancer on his chest and has to return to Las Vegas next month so they can cut on it a second time. I would go back with him to have a little vacation from all the flood recovery work, but it would be hard to find someone to feed all these hummingbirds. I'll ask around, though.

It's not a great time to go to Las Vegas - probably 110 degrees in the shade, but it will be nice to have a little road trip together if we can work it out.

Meanwhile, I have to plan meals and create leftovers for him to heat up while I'm off at my various activities.

We are still having nights below freezing and possible snow in the forecast for Tuesday. I am looking forward to warmer weather because I have big plans for organizing the garage.
