Near an old, unused road was this round piece of flagstone set on a piece of tree stump. Mr. Tbend wanted to roll it home, but his cousin declined to help him. More about Cuz later.

This is the main highway to the west of our place. There is a campground down there along the road where you can see some colored roofs. He says you can see our house roof, and if I look really hard, I think I see it, too.

This is a nice house on the high part of the mountain behind our property. Our acreage touches on this land to some degree. I don't know how often these people get up there because the private road going up there is not maintained and would require a four-wheel-drive in dry weather, much less mud or snow. What is amazing to me is that they were up high enough to look clear across to this place.

Here is Cousin Tbend again. I think it looks like he was photoshopped into the foreground. He's a really nice guy, works for an insulation manufacturing company where he is market manager for appliance insulation - ranges and water heaters are the main markets; refrigerators use foam.

This is the best photo of the bunch. Longs Peak is on the right, Mount Meeker on the left. Someday far in the future someone will build a house up on the place it was taken from and what a nice view it will have.
