Reunion Photo

This is my cousins in the early 1950s. I think it's hilarious.

The horse's name is Tuffy.

That's great. In a picture I've got someplace I am four and looking kind of like that crying/yelling little girl. Look how patient the horse looks, though!

Doesn't he look patient, though! My uncle was kind of a bully, and he probably enjoyed torturing those kids by putting them up on Tuffy.

A horse name "Tuffy".Nice name like Buffy.

If you had two dogs, you could name the second one Tuffy. I wonder if they could tell their names apart, or would they both come running regardless of which name you called.

I have a photo of three of my cousins that is the twin of that one. Even the horse looks the same, only our pony's name was Trigger.

I'll have to get my old photos down and see if I can find mine. You are not going to believe it when you see it.

Isn't that funny! I would love to see a collection of similar poses from all over the country - we'd see how much we have in common with everyone else.

We never had horses on our farm, and when my dad had a tractor business he said he'd trade for anything but a horse. My cousins always had horses on their place.

Love it! What a great old shot! The expressions are priceless, including Tuffy's, what a calm soul.

Too bad my cousins didn't learn something about peace and calmness from Tuffy.

Tuffy was doing his part. Your cousins were cute.

I can just see my Uncle Lou putting Elly up there on the horse and her objecting to it so strenuously. Tuffy doesn't care, he's just going to stand there.

A horse named "Tuffy"--that's hilarious!! I LOVE old photos!

Their other horses were named something like Hotchy and Ben. We never had a horse, and I don't think we ever got to ride any of their horses, either.
