The contractors are here this week working on the road. At the end of the bridge where it has been such a mess is almost back to normal, and I've already forgotten what it was like just yesterday, because our brain just takes it for granted that a road way is sturdy and safe to drive on.
More work to be done tomorrow, and I should be able to almost drive up to my house. The hold-up is that the ground is still frozen over here so we need to wait for the thaw, so it's at least another month before my open house.
That's good, because if they come back, they might see some things they missed this time.
It's going to cost $10,000 more or less, in case you were wondering but didn't want to ask.
Today was Big Front End Loader Day, and tomorrow is Mini Excavator Day with a little Front End Loader thrown in.
