It is so good to hear from you. I've thought of you once in awhile and wondered 'what is going on with that nice young man.' Thank you for the update.
I've had that happen before - the floor boards swelled up quite a distance from the dishwasher - the water traveled under the linoleum. And yes, it was several thousand dollars to fix it.
What a beautiful cat, very special markings. There must be a cat hobo system to mark your gatepost 'nice man lives here and lots of cat friends.'
You are so strong and resilient, and I admire your ability to keep plugging along through it all.
And Art loves Quincy.
Those trucks are fun to drive, but just too darn big to park.
Handsome Benny. He's got a look in his eye like he's feeling good. Seems like the chainsaw should have lasted longer than that. It's hard not to worry when they stay out all night.
Good to know it's a good movie. I look forward to seeing it sometime.
I was thinking about all that getting older stuff today: it's all okay as long as we feel good because inside we are young, but so disconcerting when our health starts to go wrong.
It's a wonderful feeling when you realize that you've arrived at the perfect day or moment, truly something to treasure. One would think it a common occurrence, but some are more perfect than others.
I like it all, but my favorite part is the leaf on the lower right - that's masterful.
Still waiting to hear about the car hit-and-run referred to previously.
I am picturing that little sapling with such a promising name, and it lived up to it. That side yard is lovely. I was going to say I am envious of your wet weather, but then I remembered there is a lot of it, and I would probably pine for our 245 days (official number, I think it's more) of sun here in Colorado.
Keeping them crossed. It's hard to not indulge when you're such a good cook.
I'm one of those who thinks it's perfect now, but am looking forward to the finished painting to see what else.
