Jeri's New Kitchen Look

I forgot to post this. Jeri's beautiful new ceiling, crown molding, and chandelier - so elegant.

Only Jeri could pull off attaching glass panels with gold foo-foo to her upper cabinets and have it look good.

Nothing like having a chat with your ceiling to drive away the demons of being on your own.

If only I could go away and come back to a done project like that.

It takes a lot for me to work up to redecorating, so I really admire Jeri's ambitious projects, and she always pulls it off.

would it be pressed metal tiles, a lot of old homes have that , certainly looks good and compliments the room

Yes, it's those tiles like the old houses used to have - she replaced a light box that had fluorescent lights in it.

Wow, that is beautiful!

I had my doubts about how the chandelier was going to look, but it came out so nice.

It makes it a lot more fun cooking with all that plastic gone. My brother-
in-law did a fine job with my clever SIL assisting.

David really cranked it out and got it done. From here, it didn't take any time at all, but I wasn't the one painting that molding and fretting about whether there was enough of it.

Spiffy.

that is serious crown molding -- we have none -- Ed wants to get some but never gets around to it. it's an elegant room -- looks like an entryway. Hooray for Jeri.

I was surprised how deep that molding is, but they had to cover what they had - the recessed ceiling. I had my doubts about it, but now that it's done, I'm looking at my own kitchen ceiling and asking it: How about you?
