Inky Cap Mushroom

This is an Inky Cap mushroom. They turn black and when finally gone the ground where they were is just inky black from the spores. I've never seen them up here before, must be one of the years that conditions were favorable.

Moles, voles and armidillos are on my list. The armidillos leave the ground looking like it has been rototilled. Rex catches armidillos but doesn't know what to do with them.

Mushrooms in the market work for me. These look interesting though.

Never seen these before. We just get the uninteresting white ones here when it rains a lot. Are these edible?

We have them here all over the place.
Lot of rainy weather causes this?
They are icky if you stepped on them.
Now the moles making their appearance.
