Look! By God! It's the propane truck!
300.2 gallons delivered to the generator tank this morning. Since the house and generator tanks were connected in November, the house heating system has been drawing from the generator tank first, so it was the one that needed to be filled: had the bigger tank been emptying first, we’d have had to wait for it to be empty so the generator tank would draw down enough to be worth filling.
The propane delivery hose was able to reach the generator tank from the end of the bridge – that’s as far as he backed into the yard because under the snow it’s still chaos.
So much time, money, and effort has gone into making this happen. Holy crap. Excuse me a moment while I have a good cry from relief.
